Scared

My mind plays tricks on me,
The kind without a laugh,
Spirits haunting memory,
As I walk my solemn path…

Consequences

When I was fourteen or fifteen, I stole a motorcycle.

Reflected Truth

I worry if the man gazing back
Knows me like he should
Does he see a lesser person
Or perceive a lesser good

The Harder Truth

I could not say it for the longest time,
Fearing my life by acronym defined…

Scared

My mind plays tricks on me,
The kind without a laugh,
Spirits haunting memory,
As I walk my solemn path…

Honestly

When all too late I realize,
You prefer to hear the little lies…

Reflected Truth

I worry if the man gazing back
Knows me like he should
Does he see a lesser person
Or perceive a lesser good

Not Always

The only always I can promise is…

Got Compassion?

This is not the type of person I ever intended to become but, being honest with myself, it is certainly who I am.
