Great Oak

We must live like the great oak tree,
Pushing up against our gravity…

When Darkness Falls

It is like drowning in the night,
Ebony shades pulled against right…

Wingless Angels

The loving word of friend,
That whisper in our ear…

Honestly

When all too late I realize,
You prefer to hear the little lies…

Hate Flows

Hate cleaves the mortal soul,
Like water cuts through stone…

Sunny, Sunny Day

Sunny, sunny day,
Whispers carry clouds away,
Hope carried on yellow ray,
Amidst a sky bright and blue.

A Gwawdodyn For Gwendolyn

I asked of the King, what must be done,
That in the end, maiden’s heart be won…

You Could Never Be

When into darkness my life fell,
Swallowed by a reductive hole,
Like penny thrown in wishing well,
The falling of a vanquished soul.

Silent Words

They are unspoken in every wanting glance,
Adoration and longing…

Unanswered Question

The conflict I try to avoid,
Is not shirked out of any fear,
It is reservation employed,
To keep harm’s way from coming near.
