You have an odd philosophy,
Possessive shown by apostrophe,
As if all the material things,
Buy gold harp and angelic wings.
I lie when the honest words cut
Little fibs that save wounded heart
I cry for the ‘if’ and the ‘but’
Pitfall to best intentions at start
Embracing imperfection with faith, flannel, & fresh air
Faith saved us from the savages that we were, losing faith makes us savages again
