The symphony of cricket and cicada begins,
As streetlamps wake to a warming glow…

A global view of connections…

A synaptic wind blows,
Through the empty spaces,
Shoving clouds across mind’s sky,
Like a playground bully.

Old Residence

The front door a different color,
And the hedges now more fully grown…

Sometimes

Sometimes,
The tear drop falls,
An unseen pain.

Weathered but untethered,
Beaten, but yet unbowed,
Saved as if some treasure,
And buried just as deep.

Pine Box

With tears and woeful cries,
Let me think that my last day,
Will be seen through happy eyes.
