Scars do not protect a heart,
Old wounds are oft renewed…

Scared

My mind plays tricks on me,
The kind without a laugh,
Spirits haunting memory,
As I walk my solemn path…

Indelible

How hard would we laugh,
Salted smiles from glass rim,
You would still be just her,
And I would still be just him.

Slings and Arrows

My heart cannot withstand such strife
Like the body easily can
For things that harm the heart
Can kill the inner man

The Keep

Stone walls, each block, mortared by tears…
