Spring

Daffodils on sunlit hills,
And a warmth felt in the breeze…

A Beautiful Kind

In crimson cries the southern skies,
Long tears drip in great lament…

A Long Moment

Gentle scents fall on broken bough,
There is the air and art of Belize…

The Kiss and the Curse

The promise and pain,
Of your tear-stained laugh,
Spinning weathervane,
Of your wind-blown path.

Leap Year

What if you could be gifted some,
A few hours, or even a day,
What would you have that time become,
Before it too passes away.

Warm Westward Wind

Without recourse you arid blow
Across cracked and barren brown lands
Hot leathered coils what you bestow
These callused, sun burnt cowboy hands
