Hourglass

The hourglass of life filled with granular moments…

Say It Now

And once I am gone,
I will not hear,
All the words that come too late…

Scarecrows

The world is full of scarecrows,
But they are just straw on a pole…

The Harder Truth

I could not say it for the longest time,
Fearing my life by acronym defined…

If I Had Known

If I had known, it would end like this,
I would have lingered longer in each kiss…

Burn It Down

So, burn it to the ground,
If that is your great desire…

Evidence

Faith is usually reserved,
For believing without proof…

The Truth

When it is bent by all we hear,
The repeated lies and fallacies,
Where is the truth we hold dear,
When ours seem to never agree…

Act

Stand not idly by and watch,
Whispering words in wishes,
Wanted given in little prayers,
When action seen capricious…

Different, Not Better

You hang a sheepskin,
And I sport tattoos,
You dress to win,
I wear jeans of blue…
