Do Your Job

For what you say, will fade away,
And what is left, is just what’s done…

Stand

Do not let my calm demeanor,
Make you for a minute think,
That I am not a man of purpose…

Sitting on the Moon

Making snow angels in the dust,
That traces every moment touched…

Fragile Thing

Oh, how fragile,
A house of glass,
From sea to shining sea…

Chandelier

With all that I could muster,
My flint struck against the steel…

The Unbeliever’s Prayer

Listen, I know it has been awhile since we talked,
I have long believed you are not there to hear me…

Old Ways

An eye towards race, a judging view,
A binary concept of who should love…

Tears in the Sand

If amidst the dry and sandy sea,
They could sit right across from me,
Would we still kill one another,
Or would we have seen a brother.

Friends

How do we pick our friends? Are they haphazard connections brought about by fate or kismet?
