Everybody Wins

It seems nothing requires proof

And all we ever do is fight

We have forfeited any truth

In the need to be always right

History holds great compromise

When our fears are truly real

So, it comes as a big surprise

When our fears are all we feel

Brothers and sisters are we all

And yet, so widely unrelated

In the rush to our own tribe’s call

We leave all others to be ill-fated

Do we not share this perfect pearl

Our planet around the sun spins

If we see it as just one world

Then surely everybody wins

Beautiful Brad, you are certainly right about the condition of fear and how it should be either channelled into the direction of victory or overcome…lovely piece and I greatly admire your talent, your words and your poetry! Thank you!
