Dawn of Discovery

I have been chasing something

All the years I have lived

But know not what it is

I cannot describe it at all

But feel assured I will

Know it when I find it

It is not a need

For all my needs are met

A blessed life of few regrets

It is something else

Something more elusive

Than an unremembered dream

All I know for certain

Is that it lies ahead of me

And not found in the past

I rise each day

Wildly wondering

If the time has come

And there is overt joy

When every day holds

The possibility of discovery

what a beautiful way of saying this. I wake each day open to all possibilities

  2. The possibility of discovery, the result of the search, the spice of life! Perfectly said my friend!

I like the positive mojo. Much better than dwelling too much on the past.

This is lovely. It reminds me of how I felt when I could get out of the house early in the morning, in the summer. Heading towards the woods was always a wonderful silent and safe adventure. Who knows what is around the corner waiting for you Brad, something wonderful I hope! Have a wonderful day. Hugs 🤗 Jonikins
